After leaving "General Hospital" in 2011, Jackson joined the cast of "Nashville" as Avery Barkley for six seasons. He has also starred in numerous films, including "Insomnia", "Venom" and "Unsung Hero", and released several music albums.

In addition to Jackson, Bryan Craig will also be reprising his role as Morgan Corinthos, the late son of Sonny and Carly, for one episode in early August. Craig played Morgan from 2012 to 2016 and won two Daytime Emmys for his performance.
