AceShowbiz - BET has unveiled an electrifying list of performers set to grace the stage at the 2024 BET Awards, airing live on Sunday, June 30. Joining an already impressive lineup are Chloe Bailey, Childish Gambino (a.k.a. Donald Glover), Keke Palmer, Summer Walker, Marsha Ambrosius and Coco Jones.
These stars will join Tyla, Ice Spice, Ms. Lauryn Hill, YG Marley and Tanner Adell, previously announced as performers. Notably, Usher will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring his exceptional musical legacy.
One of the most highly anticipated performances of the night will undoubtedly be the return of Will Smith to the live music stage. The Grammy winner will perform his first new solo song in five years, marking a significant moment for the actor and rapper.
Taraji P. Henson will host the awards ceremony for the third consecutive year, alongside presenters such as Andra Day, Colman Domingo, Niecy Nash-Betts and DC Young Fly.
Other highlights of the night include Childish Gambino's comeback performance, fueling rumors of a new album titled "Bando Stone & the New World". The rapper-singer aims to bring joy back to music, citing a lack of it in the industry.
