In a recent interview, Lil Wayne openly declared his top five rappers of all time, and the list notably excluded Kendrick Lamar. Instead, he named Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, Eminem, The Notorious B.I.G., and his protege Drake.
Wayne's selection was not entirely unexpected, given his long-standing friendship and professional relationship with Drake since signing him to his Young Money imprint in 2009.
