Once at odds, hip-hop duo City Girls have transformed their public fallout into a testament of resilience and growth, focusing on solo careers while maintaining their friendship.

AceShowbiz - This year has been a whirlwind for JT and Yung Miami, the hip-hop powerhouse behind City Girls. The duo's dramatic fallout unfolded on social media in April, with accusations of "sneak dissing" and personal grievances spilling over to the public domain.

While fans feared the worst for the group's future, JT and Yung Miami have reassured everyone that they're back on track, though their focus has shifted towards solo projects.

During a recent conversation on the "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer" podcast, JT opened up about the infamous spat and its aftermath. Reflecting on her emotions, she shared, "I was more so hurt than gagged. I did not want that to happen."

The clash, fueled by personal egos and miscommunication, quickly escalated online, leaving both artists regretful. JT elaborated, "When you get to the point of ego, and it gets there, you forget to express yourself in a private setting, or you forget to talk like adults."

Despite the intensity of their public argument, which had Yung Miami accusing JT of "sneak dissing" in her songs, the duo has found a way to turn the situation into a humorous memory. JT explained, "It's over with, and now it's funny to both of us. It's hilarious to both of us. Now, it's just a funny thing in time to us."

She emphasized that taking responsibility was crucial, admitting, "Because we both were dead ass wrong. It wasn't no right person in that situation, and I feel like that's just something that we should talk about as adults."

Yung Miami also shared her thoughts in a recent interview with Complex, citing the disconnection during their collaboration on the album "RAW" as a significant reason for their temporary parting. "When we get together as a group, it just wasn't connecting. It just wasn't working no more," she remarked.

Both artists felt that their solo endeavors were bringing them more fulfillment and success. "We are older now, and [JT] was doing her own thing on the West Coast; I'm in Miami. I'm doing my own thing. And I felt like naturally, when she was doing her own thing, it just worked for her. And when I'm doing my own thing, it worked for me," Miami added.

While the City Girls may be on a hiatus, fans can take solace in knowing that JT and Yung Miami remain close friends and continue to support each other's solo careers. The duo is also set to appear on Camila Cabello's upcoming album, "C, XOXO", albeit under their individual names rather than their group moniker.

As they navigate their individual paths, both JT and Yung Miami demonstrate that personal growth and reconciliation are possible, even in the fierce world of hip-hop.
