The star, who plays a hardened Chicagoan named Richie on the hit series, shares his candid experiences with newfound fame and its impact on his career and personal life.

AceShowbiz - Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who has been acting for over two decades, has recently gained worldwide recognition thanks to his role in FX's hit show "The Bear". While the popularity brings moments of joy, it also comes with challenges.

"I was on top of a mountain outside Kyoto, and a Korean couple came up to me and told me how much they loved the show," he recounted. However, he admits that sometimes the attention can be overwhelming, especially on days when he's not feeling his best.

Moss-Bachrach plays Richie, a hardened Chicagoan who becomes a passionate fine dining host in "The Bear". The show's success has generated a narrative that he's been waiting in the wings for his big break, which he refutes.
"I've been, in my mind, pretty successful," he said. "I don't know what percentage of my union works, but it's very small. I've never had anything connect like 'The Bear', but I've been fine."

Moss-Bachrach also discusses the differences between himself and his character, praising Richie's open and expressive nature. While he appreciates the compliments he receives, he also feels some trepidation over the increased scrutiny.

"Because then we go back to make season three and we've won a bunch of awards, you start to feel like, 'Oh, f**k.' I mean, then you really don't want to be discovered to be a fraud," he explained.

Despite the pressures that come with fame, Moss-Bachrach expresses gratitude for the success of "The Bear". "I feel very fortunate in a time where work is really tight in my business. I just feel very privileged," he said.

The third season of "The Bear" is set to premiere on June 27 and will follow the characters as they strive to elevate their restaurant to new heights while navigating the challenges of the industry.
