A new report offers details regarding the moments leading up to the 'Astroworld' artist's arrest in Miami due to disorderly intoxication and trespass earlier this week.

AceShowbiz - Travis Scott (II) could have avoided being arrested if he didn't forget his items. A new report revealed that the "Astroworld" artist's arrest in Miami was a result of him trying to recover his stuff that he left behind on the yacht.

Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ that Travis had been driving away the yacht early last Thursday morning, when he remembered that he had left his bag and phone behind. He then informed his driver that he needed to go back to the marina, prompting the driver to make a u-turn.

The informants spilled that when Travis got back to the dock, the rapper asked for a police escort to get his stuff off the boat. He allegedly wanted to avoid further conflict because he already had a heated argument on the yacht before.

However, his request only escalated the tension because the sergeant had warned him to stay away when he'd initially left. The father of two was eventually arrested for disorderly intoxication and trespass.

It was reported that officers went to the marina shortly before 1 A.M. after receiving a call about people fighting on a yacht, according to a police report. The "Escape Plan" artist was seen yelling at people on the ship when the police arrived at the scene. When the musician was told to sit down, he kept standing back up and yelling and the authorities could smell alcohol on his breath.

Travis was initially let to leave because the man who called the police didn't want to press charges on him. The former boyfriend of Kylie Jenner reportedly kept turning to yell obscenities at people on the yacht as he walked away. Despite the officers' order not to return, Travis decided to go back and began yelling. When officers asked if he had been drinking, he replied, "It's Miami," and was subsequently arrested.

Travis was later released from Miami-Dade County Jail before noon after posting a $650 bond. He seemed to laugh off the legal issue as he posted on the social platform X, "Lol." His attorney, Bradford Cohen, meanwhile, stressed in a statement that his client was "detained due to a misunderstanding." He added, "There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution."
