The former Philadelphia Eagles center is embracing his post-football life by focusing on health and family, getting on a weight loss journey after retiring his cleats.

AceShowbiz - Jason Kelce recently retired from the NFL after a remarkable 13-year career, where he predominantly played at a weight of 295 lbs. Addressing his life after football, Kelce shared insights into his transformation journey, emphasizing his desire to lose weight while preserving his distinctive frame.

"I don't want to get too small. I think a lot of guys, especially offensive linemen, they lose too much weight, and then they look like bobbleheads because their neck gets so small, but their head stays the same size," he spoke to GQ.

Right now, Kelce is roughly 277 lbs, having already lost almost 20 lbs. His ultimate goal is to reach 250 lbs. Reflecting on his progress, he conveyed, "My back already feels better. My knees already feel better. So another 20 pounds hopefully will make that much more adept at playing with my children."

Kelce's commitment extends beyond personal wellness; it's deeply rooted in his desire to engage more actively with his family. He and his wife, Kylie Kelce, share three daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett. Kelce expressed that family life "increasingly brings me more fulfillment off the field than it does on." Despite the physical toll of his NFL years, including multiple surgeries and injuries, he considers himself fortunate to still be capable of fully enjoying life and his children.

On his podcast, "New Heights", with his brother Travis Kelce, Jason responded to a fan's query about following the extreme weight loss journey of NFL legend Alan Faneca, who ran a marathon post-retirement. Jason humorously dismissed the idea, saying, "Yeah I'm not doing that. I don't know how Alan's doing it. I'm not running on pavement. I tried that already with the 5K, not gonna make a living doing that. My knees are already messed up enough."
