Johansson and Tatum share their initial encounters and impressions of each other and their respective partners, as well as their thoughts on their upcoming film 'Fly Me to the Moon'.

AceShowbiz - Scarlett Johansson was pleasantly surprised to learn that her new co-star Channing Tatum is dating one of her favorite people, Zoe Kravitz. "I feel like that was news when we first started working," Scarlett shared in an exclusive interview with E! News. "I was like, 'Wait, no, you're dating one of my favorite people. She's so great.' " Scarlett and Zoe, who confirmed her engagement to Channing in October 2023, have their own bond from working together on the 2017 comedy "Rough Night".

As for Channing, Scarlett's husband Colin Jost also receives high praise. Channing's favorite scene from "Fly Me to the Moon" features a cameo from the "Saturday Night Live" comedian. Scarlett echoed this sentiment, highlighting how fun it was to work with her husband professionally. "I like to see him in a different way, because we're married and we live together, so we don't normally see each other in a professional capacity," she said. "It's just fun to be on set and work."

Their first impressions during the film's production were memorable. In a light-hearted exchange during Spilling the E-Tea, Channing recalled Scarlett's wig fitting, saying, "It looked like a little raccoon on your head. Nothing against raccoons 'cause they can be in style, but this one was, like, a red racoon situation. You tamed it though. You got there. I got a lot of pictures of it." Scarlett added humorously, "You haunted me for the entire film. There's nothing like having your co-stars like little pinky finger pulling your actual hair out. I was like, 'Get away!' "

Fans can expect a full two hours of this playful banter and much more when "Fly Me to the Moon" hits theaters on July 12. Channing described the on-screen chemistry between Scarlett and Colin as "really beautiful," noting their mutual respect for one another. The movie tells the story of a marketing executive and a NASA official preparing for the Apollo 11 moon landing.

Besides "Fly Me to the Moon", both stars have exciting projects lined up. Scarlett is set to star in the upcoming "Jurassic World" film, calling herself an "enormous, enormous, enormous 'Jurassic Park' fan." Meanwhile, Channing is eagerly anticipating the release of "Blink Twice", directed by his fiancee Zoe Kravitz, promising fans will be "blown out of the water."
