Sheree reportedly has been in talks to rejoin 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' for its upcoming season 16 after the former Miss USA was fired over an inappropriate posters scandal.

AceShowbiz - Sheree Whitfield is getting back her peach. If a new report is to be believed, Sheree has been in talks to rejoin "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" for its upcoming season 16 following Kenya Moore's firing.

A source tells Media Take Out that producers are negotiating to bring back Sheree to the show this season. It is said that the Bravo honchos initially tried to reduce budget for the current season which prompted them to choose between Sheree and Kenya. Both stars are among highest-paid housewives who also include Porsha Williams.

The producers ultimately chose to keep Kenya on the show, a decision they started to regret with her inappropriate posters scandal. Now that the former Miss USA has been fired, the producers are reportedly scrambling to find her replacement for this season and hoping to get Sheree back as soon as possible.

As for why they choose Sheree, the new report claims it will be easier because Sheree is already friends with most of the cast members. Sheree, who is still friends with Porsha's estranged husband Simon Guobadia, is expected to offer interesting potential storylines in the forthcoming season of the reality TV series.

Rumor has it that Sheree's friendship with Simon remains the same despite his divorce from Porsha. Porsha is allegedly "furious" over the matter and hasn't spoken with Sheree after the latter shared a friendly picture of her with the Nigerian businessman. Should Sheree return to "RHOA", fans can expect a drama between the two ladies.

Another storyline that Sheree could bring is her past romance with legendary NBA player Charles Oakley. After they called it quits, Charles went to marry his wife and fellow housewife Angela Oakley, with whom he shares two children together.

No deal has been signed so far.

Meanwhile, Kenya was let go after she was accused of showing explicit images of her co-star, Brittany Eady, during an event being filmed for the series. Kenya, however, denied the claims, writing on Instagram, "The rumors and narrative about me randomly showing nudes or revenge p is 1000% untrue. I have proof and will share soon. My heart is full and my conscience is clean."

"So many false claims hiding behind anonymous sources. All this conversation and no facts being reported. If a claim or source was valid, would they need to hide?" she continued.

Despite the controversy, Kenya remains hopeful about her future. "My life is blessed. Myself and my daughter will continue to thrive in a non-toxic environment where we feel appreciated and most importantly, protected. Thank you God for covering us," she shared.
