The rapper/actpr has missed several deposition dates in a lawsuit filed against him by Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain, who alleges he threw a microphone at her during a performance.

AceShowbiz - 50 Cent, known for his busy schedule and recent ventures, has neglected court proceedings in a lawsuit filed against him by Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain. Monegain alleges that during a 2023 performance, 50 Cent threw a microphone into the crowd, striking her in the face and causing injuries.

Despite several attempts by Monegain's legal team to schedule a deposition, 50 Cent has failed to appear. On June 13, the latest scheduled deposition date, he again did not attend.

Monegain's team has now filed a motion with the court, requesting an order compelling 50 Cent to appear before a judge on an August 5 date. The motion seeks $5,000 in sanctions due to the rapper's lack of cooperation.

The incident in question occurred on August 3, 2023, at a concert in Los Angeles. Monegain claims the microphone hit her, causing a concussion, forehead laceration and bruises.

50 Cent's attorney has denied the allegations, stating that Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson would not intentionally harm anyone. The Los Angeles City Attorney's office also declined to file criminal charges against the rapper.

Monegain filed a lawsuit in January, alleging negligence and seeking damages for her medical expenses and emotional distress. Her legal team believes they have a strong case, stating that "this alleged act of negligence and violence is unacceptable."

The court is expected to rule on the motion compelling 50 Cent to appear for a deposition. If the motion is granted, the rapper will face legal consequences for his missed appointments.
