In the entertainment world, rumors spread fast, but 50 Cent is quick to set the record straight about his relationship with Tyler Perry, and it's nothing short of mutual respect and collaboration.

AceShowbiz - Rapper-turned-media mogul 50 Cent, who owns the flourishing G-Unit Films and Television Inc., recently addressed rumors suggesting a rivalry with Tyler Perry. Despite G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana, being recognized as the second-largest Black-owned production studio after Perry's renowned Atlanta studio, 50 Cent emphasized that there's no animosity between them.

On Monday, June 17, 50 Cent took to Instagram to debunk a headline by The Root that queried, "50 Cent Gearing Up To Be A Tyler Perry Rival?" with a candid disclaimer, "Yes, I'm doing great but you're getting it f***** up, if you think me and Tyler will be at odds at any point. He's helping me, already going out of his way to aid my progress. So in the nicest way, cut the s***!"

During the 10-year anniversary celebration of the original "Power" show in New York, 50 Cent praised Tyler Perry's prowess and imparted his admiration. "So I talked to Tyler on my way here ... Tyler is no joke. He'll f*** you up if you think he 'Madea.' He don't talk to me like that. I don't know if he's tougher when he's talking to me, but it just feels like I can learn some things from him," 50 noted.

50's burgeoning studio in Shreveport is not just about business; it's about community upliftment. The unveiling of a "three-phase" initiative highlights 50's commitment to fostering local growth. The first phase targets the revitalization of downtown Shreveport through the acquisition and renovation of approximately two dozen commercial properties. Following phases are geared toward increasing housing availability and making homeownership more attainable.

Further strengthening their bond, 50 Cent revealed his plans to collaborate with Perry to elevate into a "premium space" within the industry. He stated, "So I'll be out in Atlanta shortly to look at his facility so I can not make some mistakes that I could potentially make."

Emphasizing his expansive portfolio, he shared, "There's so much more to come. I'm standing in front of you, I currently have 34 shows across 10 different networks, you're only aware of four."

For young creatives and professionals, the narrative between 50 Cent and Tyler Perry is not one of rivalry but one of mutual respect and collective upliftment, highlighting the power of collaboration over competition.
