The controversial British rocker is making a comeback after canceling several tour dates due to physical exhaustion, confirming two upcoming concerts in Las Vegas this July.

AceShowbiz - On Tuesday, June 4, British rocker Morrissey, 65, announced his return to the stage following cancelled U.S. tour dates due to physical exhaustion earlier this year. Despite recent health issues, Morrissey confirmed two upcoming concerts in Las Vegas on July 26 and 27 at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay.

"Having hung upside down for several months, I am now in good health - like an arrow fully drawn and waiting to be fired," Morrissey wrote in an Instagram statement.

In January 2024, Morrissey's tour manager announced the cancellation of several Los Angeles shows due to "physical exhaustion." Morrissey underwent medical supervision and was ordered to rest for two weeks.

Morrissey addressed the concerns by saying, "Life begins again with full accompaniment from Jesse Tobias (guitar), Carmen Vandenberg (guitar), Camila Grey (keyboards), Solomon Walker (bass), and Matthew Walker (drums)." He also hinted at a lively performance, stating, "Expect a night of thrust and parry - no-show tunes."

Morrissey is known for his controversial statements, but he also acknowledged physical proximity and mortality in his announcement. He noted, "There is nothing quite like physical proximity. Some people sing, some poison the air. But if life is meaningless then why was there not always nothing?"

Pre-sale tickets for Morrissey's upcoming shows will be available for fans using the code CHORD on Thursday, June 6 at 10 A.M. local time. Public tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 7 at 10 A.M. local time via Ticketmaster.
