The 'Gangsta Boo' raptress fuels speculation that she subtly throws shade at her 'Barbie World' collaborator after rocking a new wig that was similar to Nicki's old style in a new video.

AceShowbiz - Ice Spice has once again made fans convinced that there is tension between her and Nicki Minaj. The Bronx native has been accused of trolling the Trinidadian-born artist after debuting a new hairstyle in a TikTok video.

On Wednesday, June 26, the 24-year-old uploaded on her TikTok page a clip of her rocking short blonde bob while mouthing the lyrics of her new song "Phat Butt". Wearing an animal print outfit, she appears to hold the camera which alternately captured her and a man with a stern facial expression inside a moving car before the two of them cracked up.

While Ice, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, might intend to promote her new track with the video, people couldn't help but notice the similarity between her new wavy hairstyle to Nicki's old wig. This further convinced social media users that she was poking fun at her "Princess Diana" collaborator.

"This is one wig I wish Nicki would kept in rotation. Her Joan Rivers wigs were the tea," one person commented, noting that the "Super Bass" previously rocked a similar hairstyle. Another claimed, "She doing all of Nicki hairstyles."

"Is she okay?? She really wants Nicki attention bad. And no I'm not a barb," a third questioned Ice's motive. Another alleged, "She def poking at Nicki but in a slick way so that when Nicki pokes back a certain narrative will run about her...." One other fan chimed in, "Ok the Nicki similarities is starting to be a bit much."

Ice previously sparked a debate about whether or not she was copying Nicki after dropping a teaser of her new song "Phat Butt" earlier this month. Many thought that she emulated the 41-year-old raptress too much as she showed different flows while rapping, "Got these b***hes copying my pose/ Got these b***hes bitin' all my flows. Like Ballerinas keep them on they toes!!/ And I really write, like f**k a ghost."

While the two raptresses have collaborated on two songs, the "Princess Diana" remix and "Barbie World", Ice allegedly called Nicki "ungrateful" and "delusional" in text messages to her friend. In the alleged text messages to her former friend Baby Storme that were leaked in May, she vented her frustration during a "hard" negotiation process with Nicki for the "Barbie" soundtrack, saying that the latter was asking her "for too much."
