The cancellations affect seven Canadian shows scheduled for July and three U.S. shows planned for late September at the Hollywood Bowl, Ohana Fest, and Bourbon & Beyond Festival.

AceShowbiz - Neil Young and his longtime backing group Crazy Horse have canceled the remaining dates on their "Love Earth Tour" due to illness hitting the band. The cancellations affect seven Canadian shows scheduled for July and three U.S. shows planned for late September at the Hollywood Bowl, Ohana Fest, and Bourbon & Beyond Festival.

Young announced the cancellations on his website on Wednesday, June 26 stating that several band members fell ill after their last gig on May 22. While he did not specify which members were affected or the nature of their illness, he noted that the recovery process has been slower than anticipated.

"We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break," Young wrote. "We will try to play some of the dates we miss as time passes when we are ready to rock again!"

Young reassured fans that their health was their top priority. "Health is #1.... We want to stay and do more shows and more albums for you... and for us," he wrote.

The cancellations have disappointed fans who had planned to see Young perform, with some expressing concern for his well-being. However, many have also sent well wishes and expressed their hope for a speedy recovery.

According to AXS, ticket holders for the canceled shows will receive automatic refunds within 30 business days. Those who purchased tickets through other platforms should contact the seller for information.

Young's announcement comes as he prepares to release a new album, "Early Daze", on Friday. The album features previously unreleased recordings made with Crazy Horse in 1969.
