AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has teased the upcoming music video for her single titled "The Boy Is Mine". Less than two weeks before unleashing the official visuals, the "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" songstress launches a spooky trailer for the MV.
On Monday, May 27, the 30-year-old singer and actress offered social media users a glimpse of the forthcoming music video. Making use of her Instagram page, she treated her followers to a 13-second clip from the visuals.
In the beginning of the short footage, it can be seen that a mystery man is in a toilet. He is documented placing a glass of drink on top of a white sink before turning on the water faucet. He also pours a basin of ice cubes into the sink.
As the camera moves to film the unidentified man from above, he places both of his hands on the sink and bends his body over. He apparently is dipping his face in the sink, which is filled with cold water and ice cubes.
He dips his face for a few seconds before the camera shows the toilet's door, which is not locked. It does not take long for the hand of a woman to appear, holding the wall next to the door. The hand comes with long nails, which are polished in a black color.
Near the end of the clip, a message written in a white color over a black screen reads, "THE BOY IS MINE." The video further displays the release date of the MV, "JUNE 7th."
Along with the teaser, Ariana simply wrote in the caption of the post, "meow." However, the Grammy Award winner did not offer any further explanation or details about the forthcoming music video.
After sharing the trailer, Ariana's fans voiced their excitement for the MV. In the comments section, one in particular exclaimed, "I am SO excited!!!!" Another chimed in, "IM SO READY." A third added, "ARE YOU INSANEEEEEEE."
