Lucy Lane, who is the alter ego of Superwoman in DC Comics, is also an ex-girlfriend of Kara's love interest Jimmy Olsen.

AceShowbiz - "Supergirl" will reportedly feature Lucy Lane in its inaugural season. The character will first appear in episode 3 and she will recur throughout the season. Lucy, who is going to be portrayed in her mid-20s to early 30s, is described as "as brash, funny and beautiful as her sister Lois, yet strong, smart and successful in her own right," according to TVLine.

Lucy is also an ex-girlfriend of Kara's (Melissa Benoist) love interest Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks). While nothing is confirmed yet and it's still unknown who will portray her character, the news of Lucy's inclusion in the upcoming CBS series sparks a speculation of possible Superwoman appearance.

As comic book fans have known, Lucy is one of the notable alter egos for Superwoman. She's not from Krypton like Kara or Superman, but she finds a suit with a containment field that allows her to adopt Kryptonian powers.

Lucy, the younger sister of Lois Lane, was most recently portrayed by Peyton List on "Smallville". List is now part of "The Flash" cast, playing Lisa Snart on The CW's series.

"Supergirl" will premiere Monday, October 26 at 8:30 P.M. on CBS.
