AceShowbiz - "Supergirl" has arrived six months early. The small-screen adaptation of DC Comics superheroine was supposed to premiere on CBS this November but it now makes its way out online instead. The pilot leaked to torrent sites on Friday, May 22.
The TV show is one of the much-anticipated new shows for CBS' 2015-2016 season. The first episode of the Melissa Benoist-starring series is reportedly available in high quality up to 1080p HD format. It runs about 46 minutes and does not contain any watermarks.
"Supergirl" is not the only new show falling victim to the debacle. According to TorrentFreak, a pilot for NBC's new comedy "Crowded" starring Miranda Cosgrove has also been leaked by the same group. Neither CBS nor NBC has commented on the matter.
Just weeks ago, the first four episodes of the new season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" also landed on piracy sites ahead of its official TV debut.
