Notably absent from the event was Princess Kate Middleton, who is currently undergoing "preventative chemotherapy" for cancer. While she couldn't attend, she did share a heartfelt tribute to Prince William on social media. "Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx," Kate captioned a touching photo of William and their children spending a day at the beach.
William's father, King Charles III, also paid tribute to his son with a nostalgic post on social media, featuring a black-and-white photo from William's childhood. "Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!" the heartfelt message read.
This isn't Prince William's first interaction with Taylor Swift. He previously joined the pop superstar and Jon Bon Jovi on stage at the Centrepoint Gala charity dinner in London back in 2013, where they performed "Livin' on a Prayer."
