Celebrating a milestone birthday, the heir apparent to the British throne joined two of his children in an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and a special reunion with Taylor Swift.

AceShowbiz - Prince William had a birthday celebration to remember as he attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium in London on June 21. The Prince of Wales, turning 42 that day, enjoyed the show from a private box with his children, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9.

The future king showed off his fun side by enthusiastically dancing to Swift's hit song "Shake It Off." In footage shared on social media, William, dressed smartly in a button-down shirt and blazer, was seen enthusiastically vibing to her song while fans cheered him on. His daughter Charlotte twirled in her pink, sparkly dress, making it a family affair on the terrace.

"Prince William being a 1989 girlie is taking me OUT," exclaimed one excited fan.

William and his kids also got the chance to meet Taylor Swift backstage along with her American football player boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Swift, 34, even captured a memorable selfie with the royal trio.

The bond between Swift and William goes way back; they first met at a charity event in November 2013, where the prince eagerly joined Swift and Jon Bon Jovi for a rendition of "Livin' on a Prayer."

William reminisced about that event in a 2021 interview, saying, "She puts her hand on my arm, looks me in the eye, and says, 'Come on, William. Let's go and sing.' I got up like a puppy and went, 'Yeah, OK, that seems like a great idea. I'll follow you.' "

The concert, marking the start of the London leg of Swift's Eras Tour, also saw other notable guests. Royals Zara and Mike Tindall were spotted enjoying the show, as well as Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Victoria. Swift expressed her excitement to the audience, acknowledging the energy of the London crowd and calling the city "the most exhilarating city in the world."

Meanwhile, Princess Kate Middleton, 42, who is currently battling an undisclosed form of cancer, was not present at the concert. However, she shared a heartwarming birthday tribute to William on social media, including a snap of him with their children on a beach, captioned, "Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much!"

The evening highlighted not only the global appeal of Taylor Swift's music but also Prince William's ability to connect with his family and the public in joyous and spontaneous moments.
