In the wake of Matthew Perry's unfortunate passing, a tangled web of personal histories and legal inquiries continues to unfold, with Brooke Mueller being questioned by authorities.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen's lawyer, Gregory J. Pedrick, recently spoke to In Touch about the current state of affairs involving the actor's extended family following the tragic death of Matthew Perry as Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller was being questioned by police.

"This extended family has worked hard to restore serenity to their ecosystem - to the great benefit of their children," Pedrick remarked. The lawyer's statement highlights the equilibrium the family has been striving to maintain, particularly for the sake of Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Brooke Mueller's children.

Brooke Mueller was questioned multiple times by the LAPD concerning Perry's death. The investigation launched after Matthew Perry was found deceased in the jacuzzi of his Los Angeles mansion on October 28, reportedly as a result of the acute effects of ketamine with drowning listed as a contributing factor.

Sources have indicated that law enforcement is scrutinizing where Perry may have obtained the ketamine, with the possibility of multiple people facing charges. An anonymous insider revealed that the police executed a search warrant in May at a sober living facility where Brooke was residing, seizing an iPhone and laptop in the process.

The insider added, "She's hired lawyers and has had multiple meetings with law enforcement since they arrived at her sober living house with a search warrant. She's being tight-lipped about the situation."

Brooke Mueller, 46, has categorically denied involvement in the circumstances surrounding Matthew's death, despite being close to him since meeting in rehab. Meanwhile, Gregory Pedrick emphasized that any information Brooke may provide is likely incidental and anecdotal.

"I believe Ms. Mueller's past choices may have put her in a position to provide some incidental, anecdotal background to the authorities investigating Mr. Perry's death. Nothing more," Pedrick asserted.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller, who share 14-year-old twins Max and Bob, have experienced a tumultuous relationship marked by instances of conflict and Brooke's ongoing battles with addiction. Having wed in 2008 and split in 2011, the couple's custody arrangements include provisions for Brooke to maintain visitation rights provided she remains sober, with weekly drug tests mandated by her probation officer.

As this deeply personal and legally intricate scenario continues to develop, it serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing struggles many face with addiction and the profound impact it has on family dynamics.
