The 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' songstress reportedly thinks her ex-husband's move to insure his private parts for $10M is just 'a crass publicity ploy.'

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey may have quietly slammed Nick Cannon's surprising move to insure his testicles for a whopping $10 million. The singer, who shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with the multi-hypenate, reportedly sees his "tacky and dumb" move as nothing but "a crass publicity ploy."

Sources tell RadarOnline.com that the R&B diva considers her ex-husband's move a low blow for her and their two kids. "Mariah thinks it's a crass publicity ploy that makes light of Nick's irresponsible approach to parenting," one of the sources says.

Agreeing with Mariah, some industry sources think that the move was a ploy to get people talking about Nick and jump-start his dry career. "The whole idea is to get people talking, making gags about Nick's nuts," notes one Hollywood PR expert. "And right now, it's working."

Not seeing the humor in her ex monetizing his private parts, the "Always Be My Baby" songstress has "made it very clear that she doesn't approve of him popping out kids all over Tinseltown," the so-called insider reveals. "She thinks this new deal is tacky and dumb!"

Nick announced earlier this month that he has insured his private parts for $10 million. The father of 12 used Dr. Squatch's Ball Valuation Tool to assess his family jewels, factoring in size, favorite features and bedroom maneuvers.

"The Masked Singer" host's valuation and subsequent insurance were facilitated by Dr. Squatch, a company specializing in natural men's soap and personal care products. The company, in partnership with Marsh McLennan Agency and Momentous Insurance Brokerage, took out the official policy to provide Nick's testicles with extra protection. Due to this high valuation, the 43-year-old was awarded the title of "Most Valuable Balls."

In a statement, Nick addressed critics who suggest he should stop expanding his family, "Haters say it's time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest, but I'm doubling down on these valuable balls and my future kids." He added, "I need to keep this family tree rolling!"

Besides his twin children, Nick is a father to Golden, 7, Rise, 1, and Powerful, 3, with Brittany Bell, 2-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful, 1, with Abby De La Rosa, Legendary, 1, with Bre Tiesi, and Onyx, 1, with LaNisha Cole. Additionally, he shares two children with Alyssa Scott, son Zen, who tragically passed away at 5 months old in December 2021, and daughter Halo Marie, born in December 2022.
