In response to the 'Saturday Night Live' spoof, the 55-year-old former NFL star and broadcaster discusses the matter with co-host Chad Ochocinco on Nightcap YouTube channel.

AceShowbiz - Shannon Sharpe has responded to a "Saturday Night Live" skit poking fun at his interview with Katt Williams on "Club Shay Shay". The 55-year-old former NFL star and broadcaster took to his Nightcap YouTube channel to discuss the matter with co-host Chad Ochocinco (Chad Johnson).

"I can't believe 'Saturday Night Live' fooled ya boy, Ocho," Shannon said while laughing. "The dude had a brown tracksuit on just like I had!"

Chad then told Shannon that getting mocked by the hit NBC comedy series was an honor as it might bring him some bigger TV opportunities. "You know what's the next step after 'Saturday Night Live'? You might be hosting the Oscars," he said.

The Saturday, January 20 episode of "SNL" featured a pre-recorded sketch titled "Club Shay Shay: Extended Cut" which saw cast members Devon Walker and Ego Nwodim spoofing the viral "Club Shay Shay" interview with Katt. Donning a similar outfit to Shannon's in the actual interview, Devon played Shannon with Ego portraying the Emmy winner.

"Three things are true about me: I am 5'3, I have never told a lie, and I am 6'3," Ego's Katt shared before slamming Kevin Hart. "Look, Hollywood made Kevin Hart. Everyone knows Kevin Hart was made in the same factory where they make Teddy Grahams."

At one point, Ego's Katt appeared to be livid after Devon's Shannon showed skepticism. "How are you gonna challenge me, Shannon? I'm the one who invented fruit…before me, trees wasn't bringing nothing to the table," she fired back.

Katt made headlines following his appearance in the January 3 episode of "Club Shay Shay". During the sit-down, in addition to Kevin, Katt took a jab at several comedians, including Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey and Tiffany Haddish. He also made controversial comments on potential bathroom rape scene in Ice Cube's movie "Friday After Next" and accused Ludacris of Illuminati.
