The 'Jumanji: The Next Level' actor makes use of his X account to clap back at Katt, who previously insinuated on Shannon Sharpe's 'Club Shay Shay' that Kevin never had sold-out shows throughout his career.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has reacted to fellow comedian Katt Williams' recent diss. The "Jumanji: The Next Level" actor made use of his X account to clap back at Katt, who previously insinuated that Kevin never had sold-out shows throughout his career.

In the Thursday, January 4 post, Kevin called Katt "sad" for going after fellow comedians during his over-two-and-a-half-hour interview on Shannon Sharpe's YouTube show "Club Shay Shay".

Kevin wrote on the app, previously known as Twitter, "Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It's honestly sad." Instead of fuming, the actor/comedian opted to make this an opportunity to promote his new movie "Lift" as he wrote, "In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film 'LIFT' which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!"

He added, "There is a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says 'They Really Love You' ….I now know she's talking about 'Katt' Mark yo calendars world!!!! This one is SPECIAL!!!!"

Kevin Hart's X post

Kevin Hart hit back at Katt Williams.

Kevin's tweet arrived after Katt took a dig at him during the headline-making interview. "For a five-year period, every single movie that Kevin Hart did was a movie that had been on my desk that all I had said was just, 'Can we take some of this Stepin Fetchit s**t out and then I can do it,' " Katt said, referencing the 1930s black actor who found fame for playing someone lazy.

"Like it don't need to be overtly homosexual cuz I'm not homosexual right? It doesn't need that to be funny, right? And me saying that and them going, 'Oh yeah, no problem,' and then going to give it to this other guy and having him do it just like it was and acting like I'm a bad person because I keep standing on my standard," Katt went on ranting. "Yeah, it's interesting, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Again, I'm on the winning side of these decisions."

In the episode, Katt didn't only target Kevin as he also put Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey as Ricky Smiley on blast. He called out Ricky for lying when suggesting that he was supposed to play Money Mike in the 2002 film "Friday After Next" while Katt was supposed to take the Santa Claus role.

The Emmy winner also accused Cedric of stealing his material before questioning his "Entertainer" title. "We found out he can't sing, can't dance and doesn't write jokes," he pointed out. "He did four comedy specials. They're so bad, Shannon, they're not available on Netflix and Tubi."

Meanwhile, Katt insinuated that Steve, whom he called "Mr. Potato Head", plagiarized Mark's role as Mark Cooper on "The Steve Harvey Show". Of the "Family Feud" host, he alleged, "The same Steve that went to go watch Mark Curry do his whole sitcom and then stole everything Mark Curry had. Now Steve got a sitcom where he the principal, and he wear a suit. And then he gets this high-top fade, making all black men think he got the best lineup in the business. And it's a man unit."

Katt added that the trio were forming an alliance against him. "For 30 years, they're a group. These aren't three random guys," he noted. "The way that Rickey Smiley kept appearing at all my auditions is because of Steve and Ced. He would tell anybody that. Listen, they got a gang on that side. They know what it is."
