AceShowbiz - Ice Cube has responded to Katt Williams' comments on his movie "Friday After Next". During his viral interview on "Club Shay Shay", Katt talked about a potential bathroom rape scene involving his character Money Mike and Terry Crews' Damon in the said movie.

In a video posted on X on Friday, January 5, Ice Cube, who wrote the comedy film, denied that the rape scene was even being considered. "I would never shoot a rape scene in a movie, especially Friday, where you actually see this happening on camera. That ain't my style," Ice Cube claimed. "The plier joke was always in the script. We would never ever show that. That's not my style if you look at any of my movies. So, that was never a discussion."

The rapper went on to note that there was a "discrepancy" in how he and the comedian remembered how it went down. "At that point in everybody's career, we will listen to a certain extent, but we wasn't gonna change the movie for it. For any actor, you know?" Ice Cube added. "We do what we feel and if it was a rape scene, it would have been in the movie. There was no reason not to shoot it. But that's not my style."

He further shared, "The role was written, but he enhanced it. Which is why Katt was so dope in the movie. Money Mike had a small role, about as big as the Santa Clause role, but when we started the filming , he was giving much magic, that we kept expanding the role, and giving him more to do because he was on point."

"If any actor is mad about what they got paid, then look at what you were doing, look at where your career was at the time, and where it is now, and I believe 'Friday' has something to do with that," he continued, "I put a lot of people in movies, but they ain't never put me in a movie. You can take that for what it's worth. I gave these guys a lot of opportunities, and I still act, so I'm waiting for a call, I ain't got to produce or write everything."

During his explosive interview with Shannon Sharpe, Katt claimed, "Money Mike, in the original script, got raped in the bathroom," and he managed to get the scene cut out. "The problem with 'Friday After Next' is we're trying to make a classic comedy, and this comedy involves a rape, and rape is never funny no matter who it happens to or what the circumstances are," he revealed.

The Emmy winner went on saying that he told the producers, "If you would allow me, allow us to do this movie without a black man getting raped in it, I promise you it will be twice as funny."

He acknowledged it was a "risky" move since it was his first movie. However, he allegedly had to "humbly, respectfully" request the change "in front of the studios and the cast and the powers that be." Katt, who also blasted Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey and Kevin Hart among others in the interview, said, "If we're talking about anything else, I have no credibility and I have no pull, but we're talking about comedy, where I have all the credibility and all the pull."
