AceShowbiz - Waka Flocka Flame's daughter stands by his side despite his split from her mother Tammy Rivera. Charlie, who is Tammy's daughter with ex-husband Brian Williams but was raised by the rapper with his then-wife since she was a kid, has jumped to her stepfather's defense after he debuted his new girlfriend on social media.
On Wednesday, January 10, the 37-year-old made use of his Instagram page to launch his relationship with a light-skinned woman, whom he calls "Big MeL." The pair looked carefree in the image as they posed in front of a small plane, with the "Hard in da Paint" emcee declaring in the caption, "Crazy bout Big MeL," adding a heart emoji.
Seemingly not ready to see Waka dating someone new, some followers shared their opinions on how they thought that Waka was better off with Tammy. "Idk but I feel like only Tammy is for waka," one wrote in the comments section, "I love Tammy & imma stick beside her."
Another pleaded, "We want you to go back home sir." Comparing Waka's new girl to his ex, another claimed, "Tammy look better." A fourth also mocked his new girlfriend as saying, "Lmao Tammy looks better sorry and more natural and way prettier."
A firth person similarly shared, "We like Tammy better." Someone else asked, "WHERE THE F**K IS TAMMY , I'm SICK," seemingly not aware of Waka's separation from Tammy in 2022.
Noticing the negative comments, Charlie quickly jumped to her father's defense as she wrote in the comment, "Leave my father alone he is happy and my mother is happy both in separate relationships." Waka himself has clapped back at the haters, imploring, "If y'all really loved me and Tammy respectfully can y'all respect our personal life's."
Some people have also voiced their support for Waka and his new romance. "Brudda im happy for you it take years and strength of coming out of a long relationship where. Yall both really loved one another I wish you the best homie," one person wrote.
Another gushed, "Be happy @wakaflocka you have a lot to offer.... A very wise man." One other expressed their wishes for the rapper as saying, "I hope you become a dad and get married no time wasted."
