The fitness instructor skips the screening of 'Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story' after her singer husband admits in an interview that he hadn't 'been a saint' in his 34-year marriage.

AceShowbiz - Jon Bon Jovi's wife had her own reason why she missed the screening of his new documentary, "Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story". While fans speculated that Dorothea Hurley skipped the event due to the rocker's infidelity remarks, the rocker's representative revealed that it was due to her COVID-19 diagnosis.
The rep told Page Six exclusively on Saturday, April 27 that the 61-year-old had to quarantine at home since the virus is contagious. "As of this morning, she's feeling well and recovered," the spokesperson added.
A separate insider, meanwhile, informed the publication that Bon Jovi was "super sad" Dorothea couldn't make it to his screening. Though so, the Grammy winner, who tested positive for COVID-19 himself back in 2021, understandably supported his spouse's decision.
Earlier this week, Jon admitted in an interview with the Independent that he hadn't "been a saint" in his 34-year marriage. "These are all the wonderful cliches of rock stardom," he said.
"It's about never lying about having been a saint," Jon, who has been married to Dorothea since 1989 and shares four kids with her, Stephanie, 30, Jesse, 29, Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20, continued. "But not being a fool enough to f–k up the home life, either."
The "Livin' on a Prayer" hitmaker also praised his wife's tolerance for his infidelity, which he wrote about in his 1993 hit single, "Bed of Roses". On the track, he sings, "Now as you close your eyes/ Know I'll be thinking about you/ While my mistress she calls me/ To stand in her spotlight again."
Jon first met Dorothea when they attended Sayreville High School in New Jersey. He cheekily admitted that during their time there, "she let me cheat off her in history." The two got married in 1989 after eloping to Las Vegas.
