A troubled couple's road trip takes a terrifying detour in this relentless thriller from director Nimrod Antal. After their car breaks down on a desolate stretch of highway, David and Amy Fox, played by Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale, are forced to spend the night at a remote, rundown motel. Their strained relationship becomes the least of their worries when they discover a collection of disturbing snuff films in their room, each one filmed in the very same location. Realizing they have become the unwilling stars of a new, horrifying production orchestrated by the motel's unsettling manager, Mason, portrayed by Frank Whaley, and his mechanic, the fight for their lives begins. Trapped and isolated, David and Amy must use their wits and find a way to trust each other again if they hope to survive the night and escape the clutches of their predatory hosts. "Vacancy" crafts a claustrophobic atmosphere of pure dread, transforming an everyday setting into a labyrinth of terror where every shadow and sound could mean the end.
