A GoFundMe has been launched for dolly grip Marvin Haven, who has broken ribs, fractures in his neck and back, and will require facial reconstructive surgery after a stunt went wrong.

AceShowbiz - A crew member of Eddie Murphy's "The Pickup" sustained "extensive bodily injuries" after a stunt went wrong on the set of the movie. A GoFundMe has been launched for dolly grip Marvin Haven, detailing the extent of his injuries that he suffered from the recent accident.
According to the page, Haven "is currently in the ICU with extensive bodily injuries, which includes broken ribs, multiple fractures in his neck and back, a shattered scapula, punctured lung, and a skull fracture which will require facial reconstructive surgery."
"We are so grateful and blessed that our beloved friend is still alive, but his road to recovery will undoubtedly be long, difficult, and faced with unimaginable challenges," the post states.
The GoFundMe page, which was created by Sean Fisher, describes Haven as a dolly grip of nearly three decades. So far, Haven has not been identified by Amazon MGM, IATSE, or OSHA. The latter two organizations are currently investigating the accident, but Deadline has confirmed that the page is a legitimate fundraising effort. As the time of publication, the fundraiser has raised $55,000 out of its $100,000 goal.
As reported before, the accident happened on Saturday, April 20 during an action sequence with the 2nd unit team. Amazon MGM Studios and a spokesperson close to the production confirmed that the accident occurred despite thorough rehearsals and stringent adherence to safety protocols.
"The sequence did not go as planned and several members of the crew were injured as a result. We are still in the process of gathering facts on what happened and why, but first and foremost our thoughts are with those who are recovering," the spokesperson stated.
Three crew members were injured in the incident, with the injuries ranging from bumps and bruises to more severe afflictions such as broken bones. Main cast members, including Murphy, Keke Palmer and Pete Davidson, were not present during the accident.
Despite the previous report that stated production has been halted due to the accident, sources tell Deadline that production on the film has not stopped since the accident occurred with the 2nd unit team and director Tim Story was not around this part of the set at the time of the accident.
A video of the accident was recently released by The New York Times, showing an armored truck and an SUV veering off a rock before the truck rolled on top of the SUV. As both vehicles flipped before landing upright, a crew member could be seen being ejected from the truck.
