AceShowbiz - Michelle Obama could not help but shower Alicia Keys with praise for the singer's "creativity." After attending the opening night of Alicia's Broadway musical "Hell's Kitchen", the former First Lady publicly gushed over the "If I Ain't Got You" songstress' talent.
On Monday, April 22, the 60-year-old wife of Barack Obama made use of her Instagram page to share what she liked about the show. In the caption of her new post, she exclaimed, "@AliciaKeys, you've done it again! I absolutely loved every second of @HellsKitchenBway and found myself singing and dancing the entire night."
Michelle went on to write, "I know how hard you worked to bring this production to life, and I could feel your creativity and light shining all the way through. You and the cast should feel so proud!" adding a red heart emoji.
In the same post, Michelle uploaded a series of photos from the event. One of the pictures captured her having a nice conversation with Alicia. In the particular snap, the two were photographed chatting while looking at each other, with Michelle flashing her radiant smile as seen in her reflection in a mirror.
Another photo saw Michelle and Alicia striking a pose with other famous figures, who also attended the opening night. Among them was Alicia's husband, music producer Swizz Beatz. In the snap, Swizz was seen squatting as he smiled for the camera. In addition, Alicia's mother Terria Joseph made an appearance that night to show her support for her beloved daughter.
Aside from Michelle, Swizz and Terria, Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King attended the event. Oprah and Gayle, who looked in sync in their stylish all-white outfits, appeared in good spirits in the group photo as they smiled from ear-to-ear.
In response to Michelle's sweet gesture, Alicia replied in the comments section of the post. "My gorgeous sister!! We are so proud and you are so generous to bring your love and energy to this amazing cast! They felt so beloved as do I. Sisterhood is so beautiful and powerful!!" she penned.
