First Teaser Poster for 'The Twilight Saga's Eclipse'
November 07, 2009 09:11:44The first teaser poster for the upcoming "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" has made its rounds. Found via Bloody-Disgusting, the one-sheet reportedly was shown at the American Film Market in Los Angeles. While it doesn't display any of the major characters, it does pick up the film's darker tone with dark clouds and an eclipsed blood-red moon dominating.
This teaser poster came out just days after director David Slade announced the completion of the filming for this third "Twilight Saga" movie. Through his Twitter account, he made public that "Twilight Eclipse officially wrapped shooting, at 4.30 am October 29th," before adding, "Physically and emotionally exhausted."

The 40-year-old filmmaker made use of his Twitter account to let out first real look at Xavier Samuel's character Riley Biers.
Along with the picture, the "Hard Candy" helmer wrote, "In celebration of wrap first Eclipse cast photo Xavier Samuels between set ups as Riley Biers." In "Eclipse", Riley is described as a good-looking college student. He is turned into a vampire by Victoria and helps the vengeful vampire to lead her army of newborn vampires.

'Eclipse' Filming Has Officially Come to a Wrap

David Slade, the third director in the "Twilight Saga" series, has just announced the end of principal photography through his Twitter page. Through the official Twilight's Twitter account, Summit Entertainment unraveled the first look at the title treatment for the third movie for the "Twilight Saga" series.
While the studio had announced last Monday, October 19 that it will deliver the first look at the logo when the Twilight's Twitter account reaches as much as 200,000 followers, the unveiling came even before the number hits the designated 200k. 'Eclipse' Opener to Include Xavier Samuel's Riley
October 10, 2009 02:10:14Victoria's new fighting partner, Riley, could be seen in "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" as early as the movie's opening scene. Suggesting the possibility was Lainey Gossip which brought forth a bunch of set photos and a behind-the-scene video taken from the Wednesday night, October 7, shooting with the actor hired to portray the character, Xavier Samuel.
In the report, the site claimed that the Australian actor "is working on what's currently intended (at press time) to be the OPENING SCENE in Eclipse." The particular scene filmed, in the meantime, sees Riley being terrorized down an alley in Seattle by a sinister shadow which turns out to be Victoria. Rehearsing for 'Eclipse', Jackson Rathbone Injured
September 24, 2009 09:09:08A minor accident has taken place on the set of "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", leaving Jackson Rathbone suffering a mild injury. A representative of Summit Entertainment has confirmed that the actor who portrays Jasper Hale in the vampire series was hurt while rehearsing a fight scene on the set.
In a statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday, September 23, the studio spokesperson said, "Actor Jackson Rathbone of 'The Twilight Saga' movies, was slightly injured yesterday during a fight scene rehearsal. As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor." The rep continued, "He's fine and is back at work on the set of ECLIPSE today." 'Eclipse' Shooting Disturbed by Noisy Planes

Through a press release outed Tuesday, August 18, Summit Entertainment announced that the third installment of the "Twilight Saga" series has commenced principal photography with director David Slade serving behind the lens.
The filming is taking place on location in Vancouver, BC using the script provided by the "Twilight Saga" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg. U gus probably know that but know eclipse next year AWESOME. Me and my friends are like huge twilight fans we loved twilight wen my friend visits we are going to watch twilight for only the second time but I want to watch for like the 10th time it is awesome I am bying it this weeken coz of my birthday and its gonna be awesome I LOVE twilight I hope the other movies wont flop. At first my friend thaught bell smelled cos edward was always covering his nose lol. Twilight saga and The septimus heap books are my favourite thing at the moment. I love twilight but im only 11 (11 IN A FEW AYS) but im uber excited for the other movies.

Im re-reading all the books for the 2nd time and every time Victoria's name is mentioned, Rachelle's face pops up... My brain is attached to her... I just hope that Bryce Dallas does a good job... it's hard... i just hope it doesn't screw it up ;(

I mean come on we all have waited for new moom I think we all can wait on Eclipse.June 30th just seems a little too soon. but I guess we will see. posted by Jdae on Oct 31, 2009Eclipse (for me) is the most exciting of the 4 twilight saga books by Stephanie. It's unfortunate that she has no plans at the moment of finishing Midnight Sun (Edward's perspective). The producers must keep filming 'till they finish Breaking Dawn... let's face it, none of the actors are really immortal and soon enough their true ages will start to show (some things that makeup and special effects can't hide). Just keep filming... release dates can come later after perfecting the film with the minor details. I wonder who they'll pick to play Nessie. I hope she's a beautiful, brilliant "NEW" talent.
