A malevolent, glowing fog rolls into the isolated fishing community of Antonio Island, bringing with it the vengeful ghosts of a century-old maritime tragedy. As the mysterious mist envelops the town, strange and terrifying events begin to unfold, trapping the residents in a waking nightmare. Tom Welling stars as Nick Castle, a young fisherman who must uncover the dark secret buried in the town’s past, while Maggie Grace plays Elizabeth Williams, a visitor who becomes a key to the unfolding mystery. They are joined by local radio personality Stevie Wayne, portrayed by Selma Blair, and the town’s priest, Father Malone, played by Rade Serbedzija, as they each confront the spectral horrors emerging from the gloom.

Directed by Rupert Wainwright and based on the story by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, this chilling remake is a tense horror-thriller that masterfully builds an atmosphere of dread and paranoia. The residents must race against time to piece together the fog’s deadly origin before they are consumed by the phantoms within it, learning that some debts from the past demand a bloody payment in the present.
