No Possible 'The Devil Wears Prada' Sequel

Talking to MTV News about the possibility of "The Devil Wears Prada" getting a sequel, Anne Hathaway revealed that the 20th Century Fox have put plans for a sequel on the shelves. She further explained that the reason behind Fox's decision on not pursuing a follow-up film is grounded on the fact that they can't come up with a story worth to tell.

"I'm really, really proud of Fox's decision not to pursue a sequel," the 25-year-old commented. "When I did [the upcoming film] 'Bride Wars' with them I asked what happened, and they said we can't make a story, and it's not worth it to damage the original film." Though noting the on-hold plans, she suggested that one day people behind the film may find a suitable story, "I think if they were to find a story [they might], who knows?...But I mean, who knows? Maybe they will someday."

Satisfyingly garnered $19.4 million from 33 territories, the comedic drama has escalated to reach its peak on the weekend box office overseas, taking over the top place from Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center."

Despite its slight drop, "World" turns out to still score well enough on the chart as it managed to snatch $12.5 million drawn from 33 markets to make an overseas total of $40 million. Right behind this Paramount production is another comedy feature, "Click", which smoothly added another $8.8 million it got from 51 markets into its third-place feedbag.

The 'Aquaman' Wears Prada

"Aquaman" star, Adrian Grenier, has agreed to play in the adaptation of Lauren Weisberger's bestseller "The Devil Wears Prada." The Fox 2000 production centers on a young woman scores a job working for one of New York City's biggest magazine editors, Miranda Priestly.

Other casts include Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt. Streep is set to play the main role, while Hathaway will play as her assistant. Grenier has signed on to play Nate, the love interest of Hathaway's character.

wow this movie is just splendid. The manner in which Anne Hathaway acted "ammmazing". She just had all the ingredients of a beginner in a job....
