After Dua Lipa and Coldplay's polished performances, the famous songstress closes out the Glastonbury Festival, facing technical difficulties and mixed response from festivalgoers.

AceShowbiz - After Dua Lipa and Coldplay's polished performances, SZA took to the Pyramid Stage as the third and final headliner of the festival. However, her set was plagued by persistent microphone issues, resulting in distorted and muffled vocals. Despite the technical problems, SZA's loyal fans remained throughout the show.

The star drew the smallest crowd witnessed by music festival correspondent Mark Savage in his over 20 years at Glastonbury. SZA opened with her Travis Scott (II) collaboration, "Love Galore", and performed hits such as "F2F", "I Hate U" and "Kiss Me More". She also showcased her vibrant stage presence and powerful vocals, delivering an emotional performance of "Nobody Gets Me".

However, the festival's technical woes continued to hamper SZA's set. Festival-goers on social media complained about the sound issues, with some claiming her voice sounded like she was "singing into a fan."

Despite the technical difficulties, SZA expressed her gratitude to the crowd, saying, "Glastonbury, I was so nervous to be here with you today. I'm so grateful, you have my deepest love and my deepest respect. I love you always, god bless you."

Following SZA's performance, festival organizer Emily Eavis confirmed that 2026 will be a fallow year for Glastonbury, allowing the land to rest and recover.

In addition to SZA's set, other highlights of Sunday at Glastonbury included Shania Twain's "life-changing" performance in the Legends slot, Avril Lavigne's nostalgic pop hits on the Other Stage, and Burna Boy's energetic Afrobeat set on the Pyramid Stage. On the Park Stage, London Grammar drew a large crowd, while Janelle Monae's performance on the Pyramid Stage featured multiple costume changes and a powerful message of support for marginalized groups.
