In a new interview, Corinne Foxx shares positive updates on her actor dad, who has remained largely out of the public eye since his hospitalization in April 2023.

AceShowbiz - Corinne Foxx, the 30-year-old daughter of actor Jamie Foxx, has provided a positive update on her father's health, over a year after he was hospitalized for an undisclosed ailment.

"He's doing so great, he's doing amazing," Corinne told ET while discussing her father, who co-hosts the Fox game show "Beat Shazam" with her. "I'm so grateful to be able to work on ('Beat Shazam') with him and spend so much time with him."
Corinne also revealed a new hobby that Jamie has taken up: pickleball. "He's playing a lot of pickleball! That man and pickleball; it's like he's playing twice a day every day," she said. "It's a whole thing. He's fully in it."

Jamie returned to "Beat Shazam" for its seventh season in May after missing the sixth season due to his health condition. Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne had stepped in as temporary hosts during his absence.

In addition to his pickleball obsession, Jamie has also been involved in planning his daughter's wedding to Joe Hooten. "When I asked my dad for his list, he told me he has 300 people alone," Corinne said. "I said, we're gonna have to cut down a little bit! I have cousins that I don't think I'm related to, you know what I mean? I have cousins and uncles and I'm like, are these family members? Who are these people!"

Corinne expressed concern about her father's emotional state during her wedding. "I'm a little worried about him walking me down the aisle," she said. "Obviously it's gonna be beautiful and amazing but, yeah, he's gonna be crying for sure."

Jamie Foxx has remained largely out of the public eye since his hospitalization in April 2023. He has promised to discuss the experience in an upcoming comedy special.
