Jeremy Allen White, star of 'The Bear', is set to take on the iconic role of Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming film 'Deliver Me From Nowhere', based on the 2023 book by Warren Zanes.

AceShowbiz - While still immersed in his role as Chef Carmy Berzatto in "The Bear", Jeremy Allen White has already set his sights on playing "The Boss" in "Deliver Me From Nowhere". The upcoming flick is a cinematic adaptation of Springsteen's classic album "Nebraska".

During the third season premiere of "The Bear", White expressed his intention to do his own singing for the Springsteen film. "We're gonna try, we're gonna try our best," he told Variety.

Despite not yet having met Springsteen, White explained that he's been communicating indirectly and is working on his own process before meeting the legendary musician. "I'm like trying to have a bit of, I think, my own process with it before, before meeting the man, too," he said.

"Deliver Me From Nowhere", written and directed by Scott Cooper, will delve into the creation of "Nebraska" during a challenging period in Springsteen's life. The film has the support of Springsteen and his manager, Jon Landau.

White also revealed that he's excited about the upcoming season of "The Bear", which will feature his co-star Ayo Edebiri directing an episode. "She did a beautiful job," White praised Edebiri's directorial debut.

All 10 episodes of "The Bear" season 3 will premiere on June 26 on Hulu.
