A rumor suggesting that the 'I Drove All Night' songstress, whose husband of over two decades passed away in 2016, 'has been looking for a new partner' is debunked.

AceShowbiz - A rumor suggesting that Celine Dion is "looking for a new partner" has been debunked. It was said that the "I Drove All Night" songstress "has no interest" in dating amid her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.

On Monday, June 24, a source, who claimed to be Celine's friend, spoke to The U.S. Sun about the singer's interest in a relationship. The source said that the 56-year-old music legend artist has "barely socialized" outside her tight-knit squad.

The source went on to spill, "She has no interest in relationships." On the reason why, the source stated, "Family and health take up most of her time, followed by her comeback plans. She is happy being surrounded by her kids."

Making a reference to Celine's late husband Rene Angelil, the source explained, "Rene was her everything. Another man would need to be a Superman in her eyes to even stand a chance of a date."

During the chat, the insider also talked about a speculation suggesting that Celine had something more than a friendship with 39-year-old backup dancer Pepe Munoz. The insider revealed, "Pepe is just a close friend and huge support."

About her health issue, Celine allegedly told her friend that she "would not allow anything to leave her kids in the world alone." The insider continued, "Celine has faced so many challenges in recent years but has never given up and has held strong."

"At the center of her determination was to be present for her boys," the insider further unveiled. "She made a vow that she would never let her sons not have a parent around, especially after the loss of Rene hit them so so hard."

"Celine lives for her children and is so invested in them," the informant added. "Her priority has always been being a mother, and while her career and singing comes a close second, her prime focus is supporting them as they grow."

Celine was in a marriage to Rene for more than two decades before her late husband and former manager passed away from throat cancer in January 2016. The singer, who broke the news about her diagnosis back in 2022, shares three sons, Rene-Charles and twins Nelson as well as Eddy, with Rene.
