As filming is underway in Cleveland, Ohio, the 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' actress steps into the iconic role of Lois Lane alongside fellow Daily Planet newsmen Jimmy Olsen, Ron Troupe and Perry White.

AceShowbiz - As filming on James Gunn's DCU "Superman" movie continues in Cleveland, Ohio, new set photos have surfaced, giving us our first glimpse of Rachel Brosnahan fully suited up as Lois Lane. The images reveal her sporting a classic Action Comics-accurate purple outfit alongside fellow Daily Planet newsmen Jimmy Olsen (Skyler Gizondo), Ron Troupe (Christopher McDonald) and Perry White (Wendell Pierce).

The photos show Lois and her colleagues descending from the steps of a mysterious craft that was spotted earlier on set. While the exact plot point remains unknown, it could potentially involve the handcuffed individuals seen in previous set photos, leading to speculation about a prisoner exchange. Alternatively, the craft may be a prop being used by Superman to save passengers from a plane crash.

In addition to Lois Lane, the DC Universe reboot will also feature David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho. Sara Sampaio will appear as Lex's assistant Eve Teschmacher, while Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell will play Clark Kent's parents, "Ma" and "Pa" Kent. Milly Alcock is also rumored to be making her debut as Supergirl ahead of her own "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" movie.

James Gunn has hinted that the film will explore Superman's dual-life as both Clark Kent and the Man of Steel, suggesting that these characters will serve as his "super friends." Whether they will form an actual team remains to be seen.

"Overjoyed to be announcing the start of principal photography on SUPERMAN today, February 29, which just so happens to be – coincidentally and unplanned – Superman’s birthday," Gunn announced earlier this year. "When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film 'Superman: Legacy'. By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was 'SUPERMAN'. Making our way to you July 2025."

Additional set photos have also revealed a possible link to Mister Terrific, with Edi Gathegi spotted in his comic-accurate costume. Speculation suggests that the ship seen in the latest images could belong to Mister Terrific's T-Sphere from the comics.

The mystery surrounding the events depicted in these set photos will continue to fuel anticipation as production on "Superman" nears its conclusion.
