AceShowbiz - Sofia Richie is still keeping her daughter's face under tight wraps one month after giving birth. Though so, the social media personality recently offered her fans a rare glimpse of her baby Eloise.
On Saturday, June 22, the 25-year-old model treated social media users to an adorable photo of her daughter, whose full name is Eloise Samantha Grainge. She made use of her Instagram page to upload the picture, which does not feature Eloise's face.
In the never-before-seen snap, it could be seen that Sofia was holding Eloise's cute little hand. Eloise tightly held her mother's thumb while looking in another direction. The lower part of her head and hair were shown in the photo.
For her quality time with Eloise, Sofia opted to wear a comfy and casual ensemble, including a flowy long-sleeved black top. As for the newborn, she looked chic in a white onesuit, which came with colorful bunny, carrot and leaves graphics all over it. Over the picture, Sofia let out a slew of emojis, including bunny and pink heart emojis.
Sofia, who shares Eloise with her husband Elliot Grainge, welcomed her daughter on May 20. Before giving birth, the daughter of legendary singer Lionel Richie revealed her plans not to "publicize" her child on any social media platforms.
Speaking to America's Vogue magazine earlier this year, Sofia said, "I want to be protective but not too overly protective, and find that balance. I want to be involved, but not too involved. I need to find that balance and groove. I want my child to be a child, I'm not going to publicize my child on Instagram."
On the reason why, Sofia explained, "I don't plan to take that approach because I want my kid to have the option to do what she wants with her life." She further elaborated, "If she wants to be a private person, I want her to be able to make that choice, and if she wants to be a public person, she can make that choice for herself."
