Before welcoming her baby daughter with her husband Elliot Grainge, the social media personality embraces her growing stomach as she poses in front of a mirror.

AceShowbiz - Sofia Richie has embraced her growing stomach ahead of giving birth. As she approaches her due date, the social media personality gave a rare glimpse of her bare baby bump before she welcomed her child, whom she shares with her husband Elliot Grainge.

On Wednesday, May 1, the 25-year-old model offered social media users a look at her growing belly. Making use of Instagram Stories, she uploaded a photo highlighting her baby bump. In the snap, it could be seen that she was striking a pose in front of a big circular mirror in what appeared to be her bedroom.

Sofia was photographed lifting her top to show off her baby bump. She was flaunting her body from the side, seemingly attempting to show how big her stomach is. She held her smartphone with one of her hands as she kept her face away from the public.

While enjoying herself before meeting her child, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie opted to wear a casual ensemble. She donned a loose long-sleeved mint green top and put on a pair of pants, which came in a lighter shade of green.

To accessorize herself, Sofia, who previously vowed not to "publicize my child on Instagram," added bracelets on both of her wrists. In addition, her long hair cascaded down her back. Over the mirror selfie, she simply wrote, "Morning," adding a red sweating face emoji.

The Story came a few months after Sofia broke the news about her pregnancy. On January 25, she announced that she and the British record executive are expecting their first child by debuting her baby bump on Instagram. That same day, an interview about her pregnancy was published.

During the chat, Sofia explained the reason why she kept the happy news under tight wraps for some time before sharing it with the public. Speaking to Vogue, she said, "Pregnancy is really scary and you want to protect that space. I didn't realize there are so many milestones you have to hit and so many tests you have to take."

The sister of Nicole Richie further elaborated, "For me, it was really important to protect our mental health and our space as a couple." She admitted, "There was an anxiety for me about hitting certain milestones [when it came to the pregnancy], and once I passed that 21-week mark, I felt like I was in the safe zone."
