In a new interview on 'Palace Confidential' podcast, Richard Eden reveals that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer relevant to the remaining royals.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not be able to rejoin the British royal family, even if they want. In a new interview on "Palace Confidential" podcast, Richard Eden revealed that the couple is no longer relevant to the remaining royals.

Richard, the Diary Editor of the Daily Mail, claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now "not wanted" by the royal family. He added, "Time is running out to come back while his father is still King."

The editor added that Harry was always "central" to royal plans before he and his wife Meghan made their move to the U.S. in 2020. "We saw that at Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee in 2012 where it was just Harry and his brother, Camilla and Charles and of course, the queen," he explained.

"Charles thought that when Harry had a family, they would be carrying out engagements and sharing those duties with William so, I think time is running out. If Harry wants to come back at any stage, he needs to do it while his father is still King," the Diary editor continued.

Eden additionally noted that William would be far more reluctant to allow Harry back into the family than their father. "I really think that when Prince William is King, I can't see him letting Harry come back and have a role again," he noted. "They are irrelevant now, they are just not wanted as part of the monarchy. Maybe there could be some radical change but it's hard to see."

Recently, Meghan was accused of trying to sabotage her sister-in-law Kate Middleton as she returned to the spotlight on Saturday, June 15. The former "Suits" star allegedly attempted to upstage the Princess of Wales when two new products from her upcoming lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard were teased over the weekend, around the same time when Kate made an appearance at the Trooping the Colour celebration.

The Daily Beast, however, stressed that the bad timing was entirely unplanned. "Meghan's team reportedly didn't set out to sabotage Kate," the outlet claimed of the mom of two. It added that the criticism against the Duchess of Sussex "is not justified, Meghan's camp believe."

The "Harry & Meghan" star allegedly "did not order up the post from Figueras, and in fact had no input over when or if he would post," referring to Harry's polo friend Nacho Figueras' Instagram Story post.
