Despite rumors claiming that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking for a home in London as the prince is feeling homesick, a new report notes that it's far from the truth.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still comfortable with their life in Hollywood. Despite rumors claiming that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking for a home in London, a new report noted that it's far from the truth.

It was previously reported that Harry was interested in having a base in his home country as his friends are refusing to visit him in the U.S. over their "rifts" with Meghan. However, Vanity Fair shared in its Tuesday, June 18 report that the royal is not looking for property in the U.K.

Sparking speculation was royal author Tom Quinn. Speaking with the Daily Mirror, he claimed that Harry wasn't happy with the California lifestyle.

"He misses his old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited, as they don't get on with Meghan," the author of books including Gilded Youth said. "Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the U.K., which is partly why he's continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security."

Harry and Meghan don't have a permanent place to stay on his home soil after being evicted from Frogmore Cottage in June 2023. Tom claimed that the father of two is "sad" that he no longer has a British address to his name. "Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles," he added.

Tom added that Harry misses his schoolmates and army friends, "many of whom have not visited as they don't get on with Meghan." The author continued, "Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the U.K., which is partly why he's continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security," referring to London High Court's decision to strip the Sussexes of taxpayer-funded U.K. security protection.
