AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Mecole Hardman Jr. and Chariah Gordon. The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver and his girlfriend have gotten engaged after three years of dating, and to celebrate the special moment, the couple gave fans a look at their sweet proposal.
The video, which was posted on Instagram on Thursday, June 21, kicked off with a shot of the proposal location which was decorated with white rose petals and candles. There was also a sign that read, "Will you marry me?"
As Chariah walked into the room, she was serenaded by musician Jon B., who sang the song "I Do". She was left shocked by the presence of her and Mecole's loved ones. The clip later cut to the athlete getting down on his knee, asking his girlfriend to marry him. In response, Chariah exclaimed, "Yes!"
Mecole then placed the ring on his now-fiancee's wedding finger before enjoying the party with their closed ones. In the caption of the post, they wrote, "Say hello to the Future Mr. & Mrs. Hardman."
The lovebirds became an item in 2021 and welcomed their first child together, Mecole Hardman III, in February 2023. The influencer went into labor during Super Bowl LVII and Mecole watched his team take home the Vince Lombardi trophy from the hospital.
In November, Chariah announced that she and Mecole were expecting their second child. Six months later, the footballer revealed in his Mother's Day post honoring his lady that they had welcomed a baby girl, whose name and birthday have yet to be revealed.
