The 'Bad at Love' singer bravely shares her journey with lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, giving fans insight into her health battles and her hopeful outlook.

AceShowbiz - In a candid Instagram post, 29-year-old Halsey (real name Ashley Frangipane) confirmed that she was diagnosed in 2022 with both lupus and a "rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder." She expressed that both conditions are currently managed or in remission, but she is likely to live with them for the rest of her life.

Halsey thanked her fans for their outpouring of support since her recent single "The End" highlighted her health journey. She emphasized the challenges she faced in the beginning but expressed optimism for the future, stating that she feels better after two years of treatment.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), also known as lupus, is a chronic autoimmune disease that attacks healthy tissue. T-cell lymphoproliferative disorders, on the other hand, are rare conditions involving an uncontrolled production of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell.

Halsey's announcement follows a previous post where she acknowledged feeling "lucky to be alive" due to her health issues. She expressed her desire to "re-do" her 20s in her 30s and perform for her fans again.

Despite the challenges, Halsey remains grateful for music as a source of solace and support. She shared several photos and a montage of her medical experiences, including hospital stays and emotional moments.
