The 'Rebel Moon' star has been charged with attempting to murder his estranged girlfriend, makeup artist Allie Shehorn, in a brutal stabbing at her Los Angeles home.

AceShowbiz - Nick Pasqual, a 34-year-old Hollywood actor known for his roles in "Rebel Moon: Part 1", "How I Met Your Mother" and "Archive 81", stands accused of stabbing his estranged girlfriend, make-up artist Allie Shehorn. The brutal incident, which took place on the morning of May 23, has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and the public.

According to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, Pasqual has been charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiance, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child's parent. If convicted on all charges, Pasqual could face life in state prison.

The chain of events leading to the attack began when Pasqual, who had been recently released on bail for a previous domestic violence-related charge against Shehorn, allegedly broke into Shehorn's Los Angeles home at approximately 4:30 A.M. on May 23. Armed with a knife, he proceeded to stab Shehorn multiple times. Shehorn had filed a restraining order against Pasqual just a few days before the attack.

Shehorn was found by her surrogate mother, Christine White, who immediately sought medical help. Shehorn was hospitalized with critical injuries, having undergone several life-saving surgeries. The road to recovery is expected to be long and challenging, with Shehorn relearning basic functions such as walking and feeding herself due to the severe injuries inflicted.

Pasqual fled the scene but was later arrested at a U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas. Authorities confirmed that he will be extradited to Los Angeles County to face his charges. District Attorney Gascon expressed his sympathy for Shehorn, stating, "My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident," and assured that the Bureau of Victim Services would extend their support and resources to help her through this difficult time.

This case highlights the dark realities of domestic violence. Friends and supporters of Shehorn have launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover her extensive medical and rehabilitation bills. The campaign portrays Shehorn as a warm and compassionate individual, undeserving of such trauma, and hopes to lighten her financial burden as she embarks on her journey to recovery.

The Los Angeles Police Department continues its investigation, and Pasqual's arraignment date has yet to be scheduled. The entertainment community and the public alike await further updates as the case unfolds.
