Dua Lipa Encourages Artists to Show Solidarity With Palestine Amid 'Israeli Genocide'

As Israeli forces continue attacking Rafah causing many innocent women and kids to die, the 'Dance the Night' singer declares that 'burning children alive can never be justified.'

AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa has publicly voiced her support for Palestine amid "Israeli genocide." After Israeli forces attacked Rafah, the "Dance the Night" songstress encouraged other artists to show their solidarity with the people of Palestine.

On Tuesday, May 28, the 28-year-old British singer/songwriter advocated for a ceasefire in Gaza. Making use of Instagram Stories, she uploaded a red poster featuring graphics of a hand holding an hourglass. It also had a message that read, "#AllEyesOnRafah PERMANENT CEASEFIRE NOW #ARTISTS4CEASEFIRE."

Over the picture, Dua wrote, "Burning children alive can never be justified. The whole world is mobilising to stop the Israeli genocide. Please show your solidarity with Gaza." She went on to reiterate, "#AllEyesOnRafah."

That same day, fellow artist Ariana Grande also showed her support for Palestine. The "The Boy Is Mine" singer invited social media users to donate for children in Gaza. She reposted a page featuring a message that read, "PCRF - Palestine Children's Relief Fund," on Instagram Stories.

The Stories created by Dua and Ariana came shortly after Kehlani called out artists over their silence on the violence in Palestine. On Monday, May 27, she uploaded Instagram videos in which she deemed artists "disgusting" for remaining silent.

Along with the clips, Kehlani wrote a lengthy caption that read in part, "This s**t is f**king me up BEEN f**king me up it should be f**king a lot of yall up but apparently it's not???? what's good yall???" She added, "You don't draw a line at beheaded babies or people burnt alive after 7 months of plenty of other atrocities ? idc about the roll out the formula the strategy the algorithm at this point i'm begging U TO BE PEOPLE. BE A F**KIN HUMAN BEING."

On Sunday night, May 26, "Israeli forces bombed a tent camp housing displaced Palestinians in a designated safe zone in Rafah," as reported by ALJAZEERA. It caused 45 innocent people killed, most of whom are women and children. Most recently, "Israeli forces shelled a tent camp in a designated 'safe zone' west of Rafah and killed at least 21 people, including 13 women and girls," per the outlet.
