The 31-year-old English heartthrob, who left the 5-member boyband back in 2015, greeted his electrified fans at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on Friday, May 17.

AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik was back onstage and fans couldn't be happier about it. The former One Direction member held an "unforgettable" solo show over the weekend, his first concert since leaving the boyband in 2015.

The 31-year-old greeted his fans at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on Friday, May 17. When taking the stage at the West London venue, he delivered songs from his latest album, "Room Under the Stairs".

Zayn documented the gig by sharing a video from the show on Instagram on Saturday. "Unforgettable night London! Thanks @noyz_official," he simply captioned the post.

In the clip, the British heartthrob thanked his fans for "all of the love and support over the years" and for waiting, admitting that he knows it took a while. "This is an exciting night," he said. "I'm very grateful to you all, and I hope you have a great night."

Many have since left positive comments, with one writing, "It was so magical. Couldn't be any prouder of you, See you tomorrow hopefully!!" Another individual penned, "im so proud, im glad that i was there!!! the best night ever. love you Z, hopefully see you soon." A third person raved, "Zayn I'm so proud of you!!! After many years of waiting for you to sing on stage again arghhhhh."

Friday also marks the arrival of Zayn's fourth studio album, "Room Under the Stairs". On one particular poignant track, "Shoot at Will", the musician seemingly opens up on his tumultuous relationship with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and their daughter, Khai.

"When I look at her, all I see is you / When you look at her, do you see me too?" Zayn sings. He seemingly references the model, 29, and their 3-year-old daughter.
