The late-night TV talk show host dedicated the opening segment of 'Last Week Tonight' to criticize Fox News' coverage of college students protesting the Israel-Hamas war.

AceShowbiz - John Oliver showed an excerpt from a live FOX News report at Columbia University, where a reporter asked a student, "What do you think about the NYPD moving in?" The student replied, "It's insane. We have a right to protest. Look at that. That's f***ing crazy."

The reporter then asked, "What are you gonna do if you get arrested?" The student shrugged and said, "I can't really do much." The reporter pressed, "Will you go with the police if they make an arrest?" The student replied, "I guess so."

Oliver mocked the reporter's question, saying, "Kudos to that student for giving the calmest possible answer to what might be the dumbest question ever asked on TV." He joked, "If the guys with guns put you in handcuffs and drag you to the jail, will you go with them?"

Oliver also sarcastically offered "thoughts and prayers" to the relatives of any boomer who died from hearing the student say "fuck" on Fox News. He read out a hypothetical obituary: "Paul John Roberts passed away in his home when his eyeballs, heart, and butthole exploded at the same time. He is survived by his wife and three adult children who no longer speak to him."

Incidentally, Sunday's episode marked the 300th installment of "Last Week Tonight," which was celebrated with an image of a cake with candles reading "300" at the end of the opening credits.
