Comedian and actress Ali Wong has experienced significant life changes over the past few months, from finalizing her divorce with Justin Hakuta to finding new love with fellow comedian Bill Hader.

AceShowbiz - Ali Wong and Justin Hakuta have officially settled their divorce only months after she filed in December 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences." As revealed in court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the couple reached an agreement regarding their property and marriage, which includes support and custody arrangements. The divorce became official nearly a year after their separation date of April 10, 2022.

The former couple, who share two minor daughters, signed a prenup before their 2014 marriage. Wong asked the court for joint legal and physical custody of their children, which Hakuta also supported. A source close to the couple told People, "It's amicable and they will continue to co-parent lovingly." Wong spoke highly of her relationship with Hakuta post-divorce, saying they remain best friends. "We're really, really close; we're best friends," she told The Hollywood Reporter.

Amid her split, Wong entered a new chapter by starting a romance with comedian Bill Hader. During a series of sold-out shows at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, Wong shared insights into her post-divorce dating life, recalling how Hader pursued her.

"I get a phone call from this guy who I met at a dinner party in the past, and he got my number from a mutual friend," she recounted. "He was like, 'Hey, I just happened to hear the news about your divorce, and I've had a crush on you forever. I actually told my best friend years ago that you were my dream girl, and I know it sounds crazy, but I want you to be my girlfriend.' "

Though initially hesitant, Wong was eventually won over by Hader's romantic gestures, including sending flowers to every hotel she stayed at during a Europe trip. The two made a public appearance together at the Critics Choice Awards in January 2024, solidifying their relationship status.

Despite moving on, Wong remains grateful to Hakuta, whom she thanked during her acceptance speech for the Golden Globe Awards. Speaking to ET, she maintained, "Yeah that's right, I like to keep it peaceful and grateful and amicable."

Ali Wong's journey through divorce and new love serves as a testament to navigating life's ups and downs with grace and humor. Her ability to maintain amicable relationships and embrace new opportunities reflects a resilient spirit, resonating with fans and audiences alike.
