"I just love everyday mundane things like picking up your kid from school," says McPhee. "To me, that is so fun because he says, 'You're back! You're back!' He's so happy that I'm there."
Foster's journey as a father in his 70s has been filled with joy and fulfillment. He appreciates the opportunity to spend more quality time with his youngest child. "It's the standard thing of like, 'Oh, well, you were so young when you had your children, and you were working day and night, you never saw them.'" Foster acknowledges. "And there is some truth to that, sadly, for my [older] kids. I was just working a lot. Even though I'm working a lot now, I'll cancel anything just to hang with him. It's just different."
The couple's ability to adapt to changing circumstances, communicate effectively, and prioritize family has created a strong and enduring foundation for their marriage. Foster and McPhee continue to inspire each other and are looking forward to the next chapter in their lives together.
