AceShowbiz - The 2024 Grammy Awards has surprised the public with its new announcement. A few weeks ahead of the ceremony, the award show revealed that Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo are set to perform at the 66th annual event, which will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, February 4.

On Monday, January 15, the official Instagram account of the award show released the announcement on the social media platform. It uploaded three videos featuring the three artists separately. Along with the clips, it reminded the public to get ready for "mesmerizing" performances by the "What Was I Made For?" songstress, the "Dance the Night" singer and the "Drivers License" hitmaker.

Billie, Dua and Olivia were quickly bombarded with supportive messages from their devotees. In the comments section of the three Instagram posts, one of Billie's fans exclaimed, "I'M GONNA CRY!!! THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER!!!!"

Meanwhile, Dua's devotee suggested, "She better sing 'Houdini' and the second single from 'DL3' era! We don't need 'Dance the Night'." In the meantime, Olivia's fan gushed, "My queen gonna kill it," adding a slew of clapping hands and flame emojis.

On the other hand, some social media users demanded the award show to invite Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift to perform. However, those users may need to wait to see if their favorite singers will take the stage since the award show is expected to announce its additional performers in the coming weeks.

Billie has received six nominations for Grammy Awards this year. Five of those nominations are for her single titled "What Was I Made For?". She is also nominated for best pop duo/group performance for her and Labrinth's collaborative song titled "Never Felt So Alone", which appears on the "Euphoria" series.

As for Dua, the "New Rules" hitmaker is up for two Grammy Awards this year for her track titled "Dance the Night". The song, which appears in the "Barbie" movie, is nominated for song of the year and best song written for visual media.

In the meantime, Olivia has landed six Grammy Awards nominations this year. The nominations are for her album "Guts" and singles "Vampire" as well as "Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl".
